Notification — Act Immediately

In the event of any incident that may give rise to a claim — collision, grounding, pollution, cargo damage, crew injury, vessel arrest or any other casualty — insureds must notify Amana Marine as soon as possible and in any event before admitting liability, making any payment, or signing any document without prior authorisation from Amana Marine.

Prompt notification allows Amana Marine to appoint the appropriate surveyors, correspondents and legal representatives to protect the insured's interests from the outset. Delayed notification may prejudice cover.
